Biography
JIM KNOBELOCH - Raised on a farm outside of Belleville, Illinois, graduated with Dean's College honors from Southern Illinois University - Edwardsville, where he received two Bachelor of Arts degrees; theatre and art.

With the intent of teaching acting on the university level, he enrolled in the Master of Fine Arts program as a teaching assistant at the Ohio State University. While there, Jim earned his Equity card in summer theatre and helped found the Ohio Repertory Theatre, performing in its inaugural productions of "When You Comin' Back, Red Ryder?" and "A Streetcar Named Desire".
Upon completion of his degree, he decided to move to New York to pursue a career in the theatre.
During Jim's tenure in New York, he was seen in several off-off Broadway productions, was cast in a featured role in Michael Cimino's "Heaven's Gate" and appeared off Broadway in "Standstill" and "The Count of Monte Cristo"
