    Abraham Martin was born circa 1589, likely in Dieppe, Seine-Maritime, Normandy, France. At the age of about 26, he married Marguerite Langlois in France.

    Unfortunately, we don't know either of their parents' names or their origins. Abraham and Marguerite’s first son Jean was baptized in the parish of St-Jacques in Dieppe on 23 Sep 1616.
